Leah’s Fashion Week Story
Posted in Events, Fashion News on February 23rd, 2009 by Natasha LawsLast week Leah headed back up to NYC for Fashion week creating Fashion Focused Hair for:
Charlotte Ronson
Catherine Holstein
Diego Binetti
And Rad Hourani
The following was all written by Leah Le:
The inspiration for Diego Binetti’s show was described as 40’s intelligent woman…think Marlene Detrick with a modern twist. Here are some final looks.

To get the look set the hair with marcel curls…backcombed and pinned for shorter length…
At Rad Hourani sleek…squeaky CLEAN ponytails…placed low below the occipital bone!!!

love the skinnies….omg!!…hot!!!
Braiding away at Catherine Holstein
The inspiration is Gothic glamor
The look is a vampire vagabond temptress
To create this look we set random braids within the crown and larger cornrow braids within the perimeter…set dry..and pulled apart to create texture and movement. Products consist of thickefy foam to set and craft clay after wards for erratic movement.
At Charlotte Ronson: sleek, shiny, flat is key at the base and natural texture at the tail….

Easier said then done!!!!…flatiron roots thru midshaft and leaving ends from where the tail begins for natural texture…no lumps and no humps allowed!!!!
lots of brushing with a flat boar bristle brush!sam ronson(lindsay lohan’s lady) deejaying for charlotte ronson

Neiman Marcus & Instyle Event - oh la la!
Posted in Events, Fashion News on February 10th, 2009 by Natasha LawsNeiman Marcus, Chevy Chase, offers tons of great events for their guests’ and we were delighted to be asked to provide hair styling for their recent event with Instyle Magazine. Highlights of the presentation, great tips on creating a Spring wardrobe and good buys to make this season that will last.
This spring and into summer give any outfit zest with layers of necklaces! Nothing says spring like a sexy rain coat/trench, this version of the classic with animal print is a keeper! Look at the stacks of necklaces - Seriously I started looking at my necklaces in a new light.

The Final look just beautiful evening gowns
And for the Oh La La twist all the outfits where commentated on by Hal Rubenstein (Instyle Magazine) and Ken Downing (senior vice president for Neiman’s) with a large dose of DC reality provided by Ali Wentworth.
Leah Le and a Fashion Week Story
Posted in Events, Fashion News on September 24th, 2008 by Natasha LawsIt all began with a phone call one week before the kick off of Fashion Week, Leah Le had been spotted in “Little Black Book” and chosen to work with The Sebastian team on the Charlotte Ronson show and Rad Hourani. I am not going to lie there was great excitement. I begged for pictures, thinking sadly, none would come… but they did! So, here is a look of backstage at Fashion week.
