Thanks for the shout out mysterious PR lover : ) and a very big thank you to Holly Thomas too! Love the weekly Fashion chats.

For Aveda Foundation/Hairstylist:: PR at Partners has some great stylists who don’t charge an arm and a leg.

I got to Katie at the Shirlington location and she’s only $40 (I have VERY thick hair past my shoulders). She’s got a totally punk rock look herself but can do more traditional styles super well also.

Good luck!

Holly Thomas: Regular chatters know I’m a fan of PR at Partners — Jacqui at the Metro Center location is my personal hair guru, but I’ve tried several of their stylists and have had good results every time.

Ready for the crop….

Posted in General on May 3rd, 2010 by Natasha Laws

We, and we are sure you have too, have noticed a little trend, stars opting for shorter hair and even shedding their glossy and impossibly perfect extensions. Yes, we know, you famous people are not actually blessed with better hair than the rest of us mere mortals, we know you have extensions. Here are some crop trend leaders, but is it just a phase?

L’Oreal’s serie nature: eco-friendly.nature powered.

L’Oreal Professionnel has created a new line of products that will delight the tree-hugger in all of us.  As many of us are trying harder to get those nasty chemicals out of our lives, L’Oreal has made it a little easier by creating these naturally-derived products.  More and more, our clients are asking about sulfate/paraben/silicone-free products for their hair and serie nature now delivers.  The line offers shampoos for three different hair types; fine hair, dry hair, and rebellious, unruly hair (you know who you are) with 3 complimentary conditioners.  Luscious-smelling in salon treatments leave the hair feeling silky looking shiny — without harsh chemicals.  These products contain 100% natural fragrance with no artificial colors.  The packaging is recyclable and recycled content packaging and “produced in an internationally recognized environmentally-certified factory (ISO 14001)”.  Now if that doesn’t make you feel a little more pure, we don’t know what will!
