We are so excited to share news from Fashion week!  While we wait for the full scoop from James and Loretta here is a look at some shots from the Betsy Johnson 2010 winter collection.

Inspiration:

Betsey Johnson’s Fall 2010 beauty look was inspired by the sexy, superstar actresses in the cowgirl “French” western film, Las Petroleras (1971).  Betsey’s own gang of bad girls channel Brigitte Bardot’s lust for adventure, exhibiting unassuming sexiness that’s as captivating as it is liberating. Yes that is Kelly Osbourne look trim and hot!

We look forward to some great how to’s soon. I bet there was A LOT of Sebastian Volupt used.

First, the marketing department owes the creative department an apology - sorry that I infringed on the spring/summer collection shoot, I know it was pain to break from the shoot, but it is much appreciated.

WOW, in one short little week (and a day) it will be 2010. For someone born in the (very) late seventies, I am rather surprised we are not all living in space. Though, I am thankful, those space helmets would really mess up hair. So, without the space helmets here is our New Year Poster for 2010.

Can’t argue with nice! Congratulations to Frank for his good work

It’s about to snow in our fair city, now even with the snow, many of us still will try to brave the elements to attend Holiday party’s and gatherings, so here are some tails with a little polish for your great night out.

For the best tails, blow dry hair with a smoothing serum and add in shine spray.

Once your basic tail is in place with bobby pins and extra ties you can start to change the shape of your tail or for extra sleek use a flat iron or add in curls with an iron. A pony tail can turn into something sassy, classic, chi or just fun.

Every Month, or so, we put up a new poster in our windows. We owe a lot to our team of stylist’s, photographer’s, makeup artist’s, clothing stylist’s and model’s that help us do that. Though, it just occurred to me, we might never give them enough credit! So, from here on out we will provide details on our posters. Starting with Shine!
Shine! Was shot by Tim Coburn, with hair by John Wilson(Mclean) makeup by Connie (shirlington). The hair features all Bumble and Bumble products.

Yay! Love the makeovers in this month’s Washingtonian. Of course we love ours the best, Neat from Shirlington rocked hair and hair color and James created sexy Jane makeup.
