Congratulations to our artistic team, the release of our new collection was a huge success. I am so excited to show case it here! Our Fall collection is about strong shapes styled with feminine soft edges coupled with natural sexy and ultra shiny hair color. This Sunday - June 8th- over 300 PR at Partners team members, guests and family will gather together for the PR Awards. This year it’s bigger and better with not only our Photographic Awards being handed out but the release of our latest collection for fall 2008. While our fall collection is under wraps until the big night (and yes, so are the winners, so quit asking me) here is a sneak peek of our precursor collection - THE MUG SHOTS - Once the fog of the party clears I will post winners pictures plus unleash the “B-bar” collection. James Cornwell’s latest photo shoot with our growing photographic team is just about to hit news stands, but you can see all the pictures here! On set, Lisa from Warrenton assisting with hair, as well as, Loretta from Manassas. Creating the power Makeup Micken from Manassas and Fran from Warrenton.
As always, Tim of Tim Coburn Photography created fantastic images. One of my favorites didn’t make it into the magazine but it may be in our stores shortly for father’s day.

How to Style a Bob

The feel of this “Bob” is a strong geometric shape, complimented with softness, but just how do you style it at home?
1. To keep the fringe (bangs) and edges strong and smooth, apply a smoothing serum, blowdry with a flat brush keeping the hair straight with a slight bend.
2. The textured layers through the crown should be enhanced with a texture or volumizing lotion, blowdry with less precision using your fingers or the flat brush but allowing the texture in the haircut to come through.
3. Now that the hair is completely dry, use the blowdryer, on cool air, to lift the textured layers, at the same time, spray a light spray wax through to enhance the separation and texture.
You are now rockin’ one hot bob!.
